Third Reconciliation

by R. Gerry Fabian

Rain showers wash across
the village
and the dirt
of lost litter
floats
to the storm sewers
where it
rapidly disappears.
With the final drizzle
misting
and the sun
in the far horizon;
the air
is aromatic.

It hasn’t been
this natural
for us.
